$22-$26/hr DOEWe are recruiting for a Machine Operator for a high precision machining manufacturing company in Ayer, MA.
Your primary responsibilities will be to produce precision parts and components usinga variety of advanced machining techniques and technology.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor precision machining equipment such as lathes, mills, CNC machines (4&5 axis), dicing machines, and backgrinding machines.
Set up machines, select appropriate tooling, and perform tool changes as necessary to ensure the highest quality machining.
Perform in-process inspections and use precision measuring instruments to ensure that parts meet specifications and quality standards.
Handle and load/unload raw materials and finished parts with care to prevent damage.
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate records of production activities, machine settings, and quality control data.
Identify and troubleshoot issues that may arise during machining operations, making adjustments as needed to maintain product quality.
Work closely with team members, engineers, and quality control personnel to optimize processes and resolve technical challenges.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant machining courses preferred.
At least 2 years of proven experience as a machine operator preferably in high precision machining Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.
) Must be able to lift up to 50lbs The hours are Mon-Fri 8AM-4:
30PM with flexibility on schedule.
The pay is $22-$26/hr depending on experience.
